ABOUT US

Making work possible.

I help job seekers, employees and organizations build resilience while navigating workplace challenges, unlock potential and create accessible environments where people can genuinely thrive.

OUR STORY

Work should work for your life.

Thrive At Work began with this premise in mind. Employment should be possible and available to recent grads, working parents, people managing chronic illness or disability and caregivers. But too often, workplaces are centered around those who are not managing health issues or balancing caregiving responsibilities. Contrary to popular opinion, many people navigating these life circumstances want to work. They often just don't think it's possible. I help them and their current or future employer make it possible.

I do this by primarily providing a resource library filled with trackers, templates and more to help job seekers and career changers gain the tools to thrive based on my 6 step framework. I also combine advocacy, strategizing and consulting to bridge the gap between individual needs against organizations' goals with empathy, strategy, results-driven solutions and lived experience at the core of everything I do.

Contrary to popular opinion, many people navigating these life circumstances want to work. They often just don't think it's possible.

WHY US

Benita Talati, Esq

Attorney · Trained mediator · Job search strategist · Workplace advocate

The word most people use to describe Benita is resilient. Her expertise is lived as well as learned. An attorney with a background in employment and disability law, she has managed a vision impairment since childhood and later chronic pain by self-accommodating in school and in the workplace, where she has often been judged for the solutions that helped her maintain her productivity and serve in leadership roles.

Her experience with workplace bullying and pivoting out of necessity became the foundation for her work: a framework for strategic career transitions and pivots, mentoring recent graduates, providing “know your rights” education to job seekers, and practical guidance for managing energy, pain and stress at work.
